Zerez is a Governor city located in Ward 6 on the Zerezian Peninsula of the New World. Its mayor is airplane320 and the deputy mayor is chiefbozx. Zerez is currently ranked Governor as of 17 March 2024. Zerez is also a member of the MRT Defence Force. Zerez is a unique place as is includes two main areas, a dense downtown with skyscrapers including the train hub, bus terminal, town hall, supreme court, and stadium all located in the Thespe providence. Then a suburban area which centers around the old town hall wich includes the airfield, small buissnesses, the Zerez Univerisity campus, and the Archbasillica of the Holy Cross, one of the MRT's largest cathedrals and is the city's main landmark. There are also many farms on the west side to give Zerez a unique urban and rural landscape.
The Great Port War
Zerez has a very strong Military and has 2 war ships, 2 tanks, and hundreds of AK-47. It is ready to defend itself. After the Zerez Embassy was built in Greenport, Greenport pointed several weapons at the embassy, and Zerez considered it as an act of war. On June 5th, 2017 Zerez entered in War. Zerez's AK-47s put Greenport's wool streets in flames and started to take over the town. On June 6th, 2017, 9pm Central Time Zone USA, Greenport surrendered. Since Zerez is defensive, it gave the town back to j_universe0 on the term that Greenport would not point weapons at Zerez, and that airplane320 would have a free house in Greenport.
Buildings
Zerez currently has 90 buildings. Many are of significant size on Crossfire road like Looper Stadium, the Great Theatre, GE Zerez, Memorial Colosseum, and Zerez Capital Int. Airfield. Tower Road in Thespe Providence hosts many skyscrapers, one of them the Via Olympia, is the tallest of all Zerez.
Highways
A6
The A8 connects Zerez with Schillerton, Whitely, and the rest of Southwold and the server. Be advised, a valid passport or equivalent documentation is required to enter Zerez.
B98
Highway B98, the Trans Providence Highway, connects the Capital with Thespe and is fully complete; it was finished November 2nd, 2017. The E-Express minecart system all connects Thespe and the Capital via minecart. Highway A6 is planned to be built connecting Thespe and the Capital with the city of Schillerton. This B road is the shortest highway on the MRT connecting two providences within the same city. In the middle there is a large monument depicting the tomb of the unknown soilder, the MRT's largest single grave.
Providences of Zerez
Capital Providence
The Capital Providence acts as the capital of Zerez. It has an embassy of Greenport and Silent Plains. It hosts the military buildings, FBI skyscraper, and a residential part on the west side including the Zerez Univerisy campus and the Cathedral.It also contains the airport, boating ports, and a variety of government and historical buildings.
Thespe Providence
The Thespe Providence hosts many skyscrapers and headquarter buildings for companies and is more modern than Capital Providence. Thespe contains a lot of businesses and is the economic core of Zerez. It contains apartment buildings and town houses. It also has Zerez's train hub which is underground, and has a bus terminal.
Arena Providence
The Arena Providence is located further away then the other two providences. It is an island covered by sand and is a tourist attraction to Zerez. This providence will not host any foreign businesses or houses, just a small hotel and local food chains. Arena providence also incorporates all external territories of Zerez including a disputed territoy with Boston.
Time Zone
On the Minecart Rapid Transit Dynmap, a time is shown on the top of the page stating what time it currently is in the new world. Zerez, in a move to establish further independence and more daylight in later hours, is officially two hours ahead that clock of Universal MRT Dynmap Time (UMRTDT). This means that Zerez has established Zerezian Standard Time, which is a seperate time zone at UMRTDT +2. At 13:45 in a city like Elecna Bay, it is 15:45 in Zerez.
