Akureyri is an Icelandic-themed island town founded by KyleFrb in Ward 7 of the New World. It was founded on September 13th, 2020. It is named after the real-life Icelandic town of the same name and attempts to emulate the environment of the town as well. It currently has 48 buildings.

Akureyri is connected internally by the Akureyri Staðarbátar (Akureyri Local Boats). The boat design is leased from Itokani Local Boats.
External
Akureyri is connected externally by FlyLumeva Turbula seaplane service to Kazeshima Konaemachi. Clipper Airlines also operates seaplane service from Akureyri to Oparia International Seaport and Sansvikk Port.
