The B333, also known as the Parkland Bypass, is a B-class north-south highway planned and built by STthecat. The highway serves as a business route to Parkland from the B33 in Berkeley, enabling road connections to the town. It also serves as an alternative route from the B33 to the A54 and B354.

The Parkland Bypass was initially planned by STthecat in November 2021, and was later revised to be built in two phases, due to talks with Hannibal mayor Valkorion314, where it was approved at the June 2022 GSM. The first phase, from Berkeley to Parkland, opened on June 19, 2022. The second and final phase, which extended the highway to Hannibal, was approved on January 26, 2023 and was completed on March 13, 2023.

History

The B332, a precursor to the current B333, was first proposed by _Mossie in June 2020, and would have linked the existing B33 with New Dublinium. However, the project never continued further and was cancelled in late 2020. The only remnant of the B332 continues to exist as the southern terminus of the B333.

In November 2021, STthecat proposed the Parkland Bypass, which would connect Parkland to the B33 and the A54. After talks with Valkorion314, the mayor of Hannibal, the current route was planned which would split construction into two phases. The first phase, which began at the B33 in Berkeley and ended in the Union district of Parkland, was approved at the June 2022 GSM. Construction on phase 1 commenced on June 13, 2022. The section between the B33 and Parkland opened to traffic on June 19, 2022, with the road temporarily continuing into Parkland on a surface road, which was replaced by the downtown Parkland viaduct in phase 2.

On January 24, 2023, the second and final phase of the B333 was proposed and subsequently approved two days later. An option to merge the B333 with the existing B354 was initially considered alongside the proposal, but was never picked up. Works on phase 2 began on the same day it was proposed with the construction of the viaduct in downtown Parkland. Most of phase 2 opened to traffic on January 29, 2023, while the section built during phase 1 was closed temporarily to accommodate the construction of a new viaduct ramp. The Cedar Hill viaduct ramp opened to traffic on March 13, 2023, completing the B333 project as a whole.
