List of April Fools' events
The Minecart Rapid Transit Server has held various events in April Fools.
2015
For April Fools' 2015, all members were "promoted" to Admin, and gained several commands including the shock command. The event is known as "Shockfest 2.0" or "AdminFest". Additionally, Central City was endorsed for Councillor by SimonScholar and Valkorion314.
2016
For April Fools' 2016, the rank tags were reversed.
2019
2020
For April Fools' 2020, according to the blog post announcing Airport Rapid Transit, the server has been sold to "Airport Rapid Transit Company" and Central City Heliport was replaced with Central City Airport. It also included new ranks and branding for April Fools' Day.
2021
For April Fools' 2021, there was a Purge, like the event that happened before Zeta opened in February 2020, but it has some differences: It was held in the Beta Server and had controlled explosions (e.g. staff only granting a few members and for a single location). During the Purge, the main server was shut down, and a new temporary channel was made for the Purge for people to request locations and TNT.

2023
For April Fools' 2023, according to the Discord announcement, a set of chunks (X = -15057, Z = 27103) and (X = -15184, Z = 26976) was discovered to be corrupted and was deleted, and invited everyone to fill it in. This hole was now called the "Borehole". The event was teased with a ?????? event days before the event was due to happen.
2024
No April Fools' event was held in 2024 due to a lack of current staff availability, as said by Frumple in the MRT Discord on March 20, 2024.
