The Central City Heliport is a heliport located in Central City on the New World. The heliport took 7 days from the start to the end of construction, and was built by godzilltrain. The heliport primarily serves Central City, however can also be used to reach surrounding towns. The heliport has 42 gates, and is currently serving 26 different cities.
The current owner and operator of the heliport is 0x10.
History
The Central City Heliport was proposed by godzilltrain on 15 December 2016, and was approved at the next GSM on 17 December 2016, and construction started the next day (18 December 2016). In addition to building the Heliport, a road was also constructed around the edge of it, connecting a previously unfinished road with the main road network of Central City. On the 24th December, the project was completed and gate requests were opened.
Since then, there has been no significant expansion to the heliport, and almost all heliport spaces were taken up. This is further coupled with further expansions of the New World and the addition of new cities on the server.
An extension of the Central City Heliport was proposed and granted to 0x10. The expansion started promptly and had a soft opening on 2 June 2020.
hvt2011 gained ownership of the heliport after a complete asset transfer on April 6, 2021.
0x10 once again gained ownership of the heliport on December 21, 2022.
