Federated States Military Authorization Act

1. Organisation
  1.1. The Federated States Military Will consist of an army, navy, and airforce
  1.2. The Federated states military shall have a ranking system.
      1.2.1. The ranks shall consist of general, colonel, major, captain, lieutenant, sergeant, and private.
            1.2.1.1 The equivalent of the said army ranks can be used for the navy and airforce
  1.3. The Military Will be administered by the defense board, which will consist of the general of the army, general of the air force, and Fleet Admiral
      1.3.1. The Defense boards powers include: without the Administration's approval initiate military action, mobilize troops, and create small scale military bases. With the administration's approval create a large scale military base, commision an order of expensive equipment (I.e. Planes, ships, etc.) Anything not outlined here the Defense board may do without permission.
2. Authorization
 2.1. If this act goes into law, the following is authorized to be built for the navy
     2.1.1. An aircraft carrier for the navy, along with a complement of aircraft
     2.1.2. 6 Identical destroyers
     2.1.3. 2 Identical attack submarines and one ballistic missile submarine, with a complement of nuclear missiles
     2.1.4. At least 4 small ships, consisting of littoral combat ships, and patrol boats.
     2.1.5. A large base on a strategic body of water
 2.2. If this act goes into law, the following is authorized to be built for the air force
     2.2.1. 15 fighter jets
     2.2.2. 2-3 bombers
     2.2.3. 2 Reconnaissance planes
     2.2.4. 2-3 Transport aircraft
     2.2.5. 4 Utility helicopters
     2.2.6. A series of ballistic missiles
     2.2.7. A large airbase, and a ballistic missile base
 2.3. If this act goes into law, the following is authorized to be built for the army
     2.3.1 A large army base
 2.4. If this act goes into law, the following shared facilities/equipment will be built
     2.4.1 A Joint base on the outskirts of central city
     2.4.2 A military Development facility
     2.4.3 A training facility
3. Personnel
 3.1. The defense board members will be selected by the administration. Administration members are not eligible for the position, however judiciary and transit board members are. Any member (Other than the Administration) Is eligible to be on the board
 3.2. All decisions (except those outlined in 1.3.1. as needing parliament or administration approval) require majority approval of the board
 3.3. A motion of No Confidence may be introduced on a Board Member at any time.
 3.4. Board Members may be removed by the administration at any time, however the removed member can appeal to the judiciary.
3.5. Military bases shall be commanded by either the mayor of the host city/town (For bases inside federated states towns), or a FS member appointed by the 
defense board (For bases not in any town, Naval Fleets, or bases hosted in Non-FS towns). The rank shall be determined based on the size and significance of the base.
 3.6. The defense board is responsible for: Running the day to day operations of the military and their branch, and Making Decisions within their power.
4. Other
4.1. This act is only designed to start the military. The defense board can make changes not set in law at there discretion, and changes to the law must be made by parliament
4.2. The military is under control of the administration, however the judiciary can order control to be temporarily transferred to the parliament in case of a acute need to do so.
4.3. A military/Defense discord channel shall be created, and additional channels if need be.
4.4. This is roleplay and all in good fun
