Winter Storm Sharkeisha was a winter storm that will impact Kitania. It was discovered on Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 by the Kitania Intelligence Agency and immediately reported to the Kitania Emergency Management Organization.

Predictions

KEMO predicts that the storm will occur either this Friday evening or Saturday morning, though the forecast remains uncertain. The storm appears to be at least as powerful as Winter Storm Minaj, which hit the city in September and left 11 meters of snow.

Transportation Disruptions

Upon review of forecasted weather conditions, the Kitania Transit Authority, Kitania Airport Authority, and other agencies have announced the following disruptions to Kitania's transportation network:

Effective Wednesday, 7 PM EST:

  • KTA Commuter Rail North Way Line Kitania-bound service will be suspended between Kitania and NeonLand. Redlin-bound trains will operate on both tracks.
  • KTA Commuter Rail Silver Star Line Kitania-bound service will be suspended between Kitania and Mikeland. Silverhaven-bound trains will operate on both tracks.
  • KTA Commuter Rail Double-C Line Kitania-bound service will be suspended. Chack City-bound trains will operate on both tracks.
  • KTA Bus X1, X2, and X3 Kitania-bound service will be suspended.
  • Inbound highways will be closed except for buses and emergency vehicles.

Effective Thursday, 7 PM EST:

  • KTA Kitania Metro  8 LINE  and  11 LINE  will be suspended.
  • KTA Kitania Metro  2 LINE  will run local between Restaurant District East and Restaurant District West.
  • KTA Kitania Metro  4 LINE  will run local eastbound between Void Zone and Tacolympic Memorial Boulevard. Westbound service will be suspended.

Effective Friday, 6 PM EST:

  • All KTA Kitania Metro lines will be suspended, except for limited  5 LINE  service, stopping at: Tacolympic Memorial Boulevard, Bus Complex West, Void Zone, and Jerry Boulevard - WTC.
  • Kitania Bus Complex, Transylvania Station, KTA Crossrail Station, Kitania Municipal Airport, and Kitania TacoBurritoAThon Airfield will be closed.

Effective Friday, 9 PM EST:

  • All KTA Kitania Metro lines will be suspended.
  • All KTA Bus local and express routes in Kitania will be suspended.
  • All KTA Commuter Rail lines will be suspended.
  • All intercity highways will be closed in both directions.
  • A travel ban will be in effect in all areas of Kitania except for Void Zone.
