Gander - Al Maktoum Seaplane Terminal is a seaplane terminal for the town of Gander, Located in Ward 2. The Terminal was opened to the public on December 7, 2023.
History
After the successful transition to the Councillor-era of Gander, TheNorthMemphis decided that Gander should have a seaplane terminal for easier connectivity to the island. Currently, The Island is only being served by the MRT Union Line's U47 station. The 'Al Maktoum' name was extracted from the naming of the secondary Airport in Dubai, The Al Maktoum International Airport.
Due to a major space constraint, the terminal was closed for renovation on December 26 and reopened on December 28, 2023.
