Goodsprings
Goodsprings is a village in Cooper County, Neverta, Meridia. It is 0.891 kilometers away from New Prubourne, and is connected to the rest of the state by the B46. It has a Fred Rail station nearby and it's mayor is Spegit.
Etymology
Goodsprings is named for the real-life Goodsprings in Nevada, United States. Spegit chose the name because it was the starting location of the 2010 videogame Fallout: New Vegas, a game she played frequently at the time in January 2023.
History
Goodsprings was founded in January 2023 to serve as a small town on the B46 which passes it. FredTheTimeLord built a rail line through the town, and created a station for Goodsprings. There are currently no trains active in the town, but Fred Rail operates the station.
History (lore)
Goodsprings was founded in 1870 following the Gold Rush era of Neverta. Many rich people who found gold during the rush stayed in the town, and it remains as a small village since then. The Fred Railways Company bought land near the town for the construction of the Newark line, and built a station to serve the town. It is still operated by Fred Rail today.
