Italiani Volanti is an IntraAir-owned airline which operates on the Old World from its hub at MineCity Regional Airport.
Originally a part of Waypoint as Waypoint CityLiner, it became a separate subsidiary of IntraAir and adopted its current name and branding on December 13, 2023.
History
The original Italiani Volanti was an Old World airline owned by Cortesi in 2013, which never operated any actual flights. The airline merged with Infinity Airlines, which later became Eastern Airways and then Waypoint.
In August 2021, Waypoint became part of IntraAir. In late 2023, IntraAir decided to revive the Italiani Volanti brand. Waypoint CityLiner, Waypoint's Old World service based out of MineCity Regional Airport, was separated from Waypoint into its own direct IntraAir subsidiary, and was renamed to Italiani Volanti. The name was chosen as an homage to original 2013 airline which served as an original predecessor to modern Waypoint.
On December 5, 2023, Waypoint CityLiner's fleet was switched out with new Italiani Volanti-branded aircraft, but Waypoint CityLiner continued to function as the legal operator of the flights for a week until IntraAir was ready to announce the restructure. On December 13, 2023, Italiani Volanti formally launched.

IntraAir Basic Economy

IntraAir Basic Economy is Italiani Volanti's sole class of service on it's smallest planes. There is only one class of service on board these aircraft, and, due to their extremely limited cabin space with a cabin only 1 meter wide, most services provided in Economy Class on our larger planes are unavailable. Basic Economy is our designator for the barebones seating on our small type planes, and lacks seat recline, a full seat backing, tray tables, in-flight entertainment, and lavatories, as well as any cabin service as the captain is the only crew member on board, though complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is still provided. One unique feature of Basic Economy is that, due to the 1 meter wide cabin, every seat is a dual-window seat, with direct access to windows on both sides. IntraAir Basic Economy is exclusive to Italiani Volanti's small type aircraft, as full-service IntraAir Economy Class is our base class of service on larger planes.

IntraAir Economy Class is Italiani Volanti's base class of service on our medium type planes. Filling most of the seating capacity on our aircraft, Economy Class offers competitive service at affordable ticket prices. Each recliner seat features a full seat backing and a full size tray table, as well as a large seatback television, controlled by touch and featuring a selection of live and on-demand options. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is also provided for all passengers, as well as outlets at every seat. On all flights, Economy Class passengers are served a pre-prepared meal package from a set menu, although the extent of meal service depends on flight duration. All Economy Class seats have both window and aisle access.

For the more discerning passenger, IntraAir Business Class is Italiani Volanti's premium service class, available on our medium type planes. A substantial upgrade in both comfort and service, each Business Class seat fully reclines into a lie-flat bed, and is separated with a meter wide divider and glass shield for personal space. A full size tray table is available, as well as a seatback television featuring a selection of live and on-demand options, which can be controlled by touch or by the provided remote control. High quality wireless headphones, outlets at every seat, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is also provided, as well as bedding to make your lie-flat resting as comfortable as possible. On all flights, Business Class passengers may choose from our menu of gourmet meals prepared by our world class chefs, although the extent of meal service depends on flight duration. Each seat has its own light which is adjustable by the passenger. Every Business Class seat is both a window and an aisle seat. Be sure to select the type of seat you're looking for while booking.

Italiani Volanti uses the IntraJet series of aircraft designed by IntraJet-EAM, part of Intra Manufacturing. Currently, Italiani Volanti uses the Fourth Generation of IntraJets on its medium plane routes, and newer aircraft from the Third Generation of IntraJets for its small plane routes. The IntraJet 3G Expi-14 1.1 is Italiani Volanti's smallest aircraft, used for service to airports with gates designed for small planes. While this role is usually performed by the slightly longer IntraJet 3G Expi-16 1.1 on most routes, the Expi-14 1.1 is used on select routes to airports with very constrained gate space that make a 14 long aircraft more feasible than a 16 long aircraft. Like Italiani Volanti's other small type aircraft, the Expi-14 1.1 only features Basic Economy with no in-flight service or lavatories due to extremely limited cabin space.

While the Expi-16 1.1 is Italiani Volanti's main aircraft for service to small gates, a shorter variant, the IntraJet 3G Expi-14 1.1, is used on select routes to airports with very constrained gate space that make a 14 long aircraft more feasible than a 16 long aircraft. Like Italiani Volanti's other small type aircraft, the Expi-16 1.1 only features Basic Economy with no in-flight service or lavatories due to extremely limited cabin space.

The IntraJet 3G TiniXS 1.1 is Italiani Volanti's largest small type aircraft, designed for use at gates larger than those typically found at a Senator airfield but too small for a medium plane. Like Italiani Volanti's other small type aircraft, the TiniXS 1.1 only features Basic Economy with no in-flight service or lavatories due to extremely limited cabin space.

The IntraJet 4G Tini 4.0 is Italiani Volanti's primary medium type IntraJet aircraft, for use at airports with gates large enough for a smaller medium sized plane. The Tini 4.0 includes full Economy Class service as well as Business Class, our premium travel class featuring an extended seat that doubles as a lie-flat bed and other premium travel amenities. Every seat is equipped with a seatback TV; Business Class seatback TVs also include a remote control. Both Economy Class and Business Class seats are set in a 1-1 configuration. Due to the limited cabin space of the Tini 4.0 compared to other medium type aircraft, Business Class does not include dividers between the seat and the aisle or widescreen seatback TVs, and there are no lavatories on board.
