Affiliated Companies

To split the work on transit systems, RedWays has decided to give raildesign and railconstruction to a seperated Rail Division called Compact Light Rail (CLT). Bus construction and design is managed by RedWays Bus Division.

Compact Light Transit

CLT's goal is to create compact railsystems, that have enough features to maintain a fair amount of traffic. There are currently the following station models:

Images of all models:

CLTS MK 1 - Underground, variable roof height
CLTS MK 2 - Underground with stairs
CLTS MK 3 - Underground
CLTS MK 3 - SR - Overground / Suspended *Recommended for overground*
CLTS MK 4 - Underground with stairs *Recommended for underground*
CTS MK 1 - Underground with stairs (picture shows arrival bay)
  • Overground/Suspended: CLTS MK 0.5 - SR (Size: individual): A first alpha version of the CLT stations, built for the SkyRail Redstone Valley. (This Station is no longer used in any transit system, nor can it be used by a future one. This design is outdated, huge and not efficient.)
    • Overflow-safe design
    • Empty-Cart-Destroyer
    • Cart dispensers
    • No pistons or falls
  • Underground: CLTS MK 1 (Size: 17*11*4): The first modular station design, never used in any transit line, but it's advantage is the low height.
    • Overflow-safe design
    • Empty-Cart-Destroyer
    • Cart dispensers
    • Manual cart refill (no infinite stacks needed)
    • No pistons or minecart drop
  • Underground: CLTS MK 2 (Size: 17*11*8): The most used station design. It has, compared to its previous versions, an automatic (timed) departure and a light and sound warning system. This design is used in the Redstone Valley Metro.
    • Overflow-safe design
    • Empty-Cart-Destroyer
    • Cart dispensers
    • Manual cart refill
    • Automatic (timed) departure
    • Departure warning light and sound
    • Arrival sound
    • No pistons or minecart drop
    • 1.7-proof (in Minecraft 1.7.x, there is a bug that can spawn you outside of the station. This cannot happen in this design)
  • Underground: CLTS MK 3 (Size: 14*9*7): The most compact design of the CLTS series. And it is only missing some features of MK2. It is also not using, like its previous versions did, the overflow-safe, dropless design. A minecart overflow still doesn't break the system. This station, as well as MK1, are a very good choice for environments with not much space at the cost of some features.
    • Does not break on overflow
    • Empty-Cart-Detector
    • Cart dispensers
    • Manual cart refill
    • Automatic (timed) departure
    • Departure warning light
    • Arrival sound
    • No pistons
    • 1.7-proof (in Minecraft 1.7.x, there is a bug that can spawn you outside of the station. This cannot happen in this design)
  • Overground/Suspended: CLTS MK 3 - SR (Size: 14*9*8): This design was developed to renew the Redstone Valley SkyRail, because the old design just became too inefficient. This design is based on the CLTS MK 3 to save space overground but also use many features. This design can and should be used for overground raillines, whether suspended on pillars or running on the ground.
    • Does not break on overflow
    • Empty-Cart-Detector
    • Cart dispensers
    • Manual cart refill
    • Automatic (timed) departure
    • Departure warning light
    • Arrival sound
    • No pistons
    • 1.7-proof (in Minecraft 1.7.x, there is a bug that can spawn you outside of the station. This cannot happen in this design)
  • Overground/HUBs: CLTS MK 3 - HUB (Size: 13x8x6 [One side only!]): This design was developed to allow even Transit HUBs to use CLT technology. This station is for the open-type Transit HUBs and allows the following (smallest) setup: 4 wide platform with 3 wide tracks. Platforms and tracks can be larger if necessary. The stations can be stacked ([Platform] [Tracks] [Platform] [Tracks] ...) and the 4 wide Platform and 3 wide track limit stays the same, so stacked they are technically 7 blocks wide.
    • Overflow-safe design
    • Empty-Cart-Destroyer
    • Cart dispensers
    • Automatic (timed) departure
    • Departure warning sound
    • No pistons or minecart drop
    • 1.7-proof (in Minecraft 1.7.x, there is a bug that can spawn you outside of the station. This cannot happen in this design)
    • Compatible with HUBs
  • Underground: CLTS MK 4 (Size: 17*11*7): As there was a high demand for a compact central platformed station, the CLTS MK4 is a revolution in design and compactness. This ultra-compact design allows central platformed stations even in environments with less space while still offering the main features of the previous CLTS versions.
    • Overflow-safe design
    • Empty-Cart-Detector
    • Cart dispensers
    • Automatic (timed) departure
    • Departure warning sound
    • No pistons or falls
    • 1.7-proof (in Minecraft 1.7.x, there is a bug that can spawn you outside of the station. This cannot happen in this design)
    • Central Platform
    • Fast Departure (skip timer with a button)
  • Underground: CTS MK 1 (Size: 25*15*8): The CTS (Comfort Transit Station) is the luxury station series of CLT. The MK 1 is, compared to the CLTS series, a very comfortable and feature-packed station model. This comes at a high cost of space, so this station is only recommended for environments with much space and the need for the features that this model can offer, but the CLTS models don't.
    • Holding loop for multiple arrival handling
    • Overflow-safe arrival/departure bays
    • Empty-Cart-Detector
    • Cart dispensers
    • Automatic refill (Empty carts get stored into the dispenser)
    • Automatic (timed) departure
    • Departure warning light
    • Arrival sound (4 tones)
    • No pistons or minecart drops
    • 1.7-proof (in Minecraft 1.7.x, there is a bug that can spawn you outside of the station. This cannot happen in this design)
    • Emergency exits (for example, if a lag causes the cart to be destroyed, the station can be entered through an iron door)
    • Central Platform
    • Wide tunnels
    • Fast Departure (skip timer with a button)

All of this designs except CLTS MK 0.5 - SR can be used in your transit system, if you are searching for reliable, compact and prebuild stations. Just contact minecrafter0505, if you want one.

CLT has also developed special track designs to fit nearly every environment:

  • CLTT MK 1 - SR: A suspended track design for the SkyRail Redstone Valley. It is 5 blocks wide with the rails having one block between each other. This design is not lighted.
  • CLTT MK 1: A permanent lighted, 3*3 (5*5 with walls) design for underground tunneling.
  • CLTT MK 2: Basicly the same as MK1, but only lighted arround minecarts. This is more realistic as tunnels aren't lit up all the time in the real world, too. This design is used in RVM line 2.
  • CLTT MK 2.1: The same design as MK2, but with an emergency lighting system, that can light up the tunnel permanently. This requires 2 blocks of space below the railline. This system is used in RVM line 1. For a demonstration of the emergency lighting, please contact minecrafter0505.
  • CLTT MK 3: A permanent lighted tunnel for intercity connections. The rails are mounted with 3 blocks between them for a wider feeling inside the tunnel.
  • CLTT MK 4: Same as the MK3 but with more round edges and less space between the rails.
  • CLTT MK 5: Onground rails with 1 or 3 block(s) between the rails. Can be fitted with wire above the tracks (for trams).

RedWays Bus Division

The RedWays Bus Division (RWBD) is a member of the Ender Bus Alliance and has only one bus design. The RWB MK 1. This Bus design is used in the RedTrans 01.
