The A2 is a major A-class motorway that aims to create a road connection to all cities located near the far-eastern border of the New World - starting from Secunda in the far north, and possibly going as far south as Pearl Coast. However, for the time being, the motorway only reaches the area surrounding Merritt Lakes.
The A2 intersects with three other main A-roads. These are the A267, A269, and A230.

Construction Timeline
- 17/12/2017 - The beginning of the A2 is approved, running from Verdantium (exit 5) to Merritt Lakes (exit 7).
- 30/12/2017 - Construction of exit 5 is completed.
- 04/01/2018 - Construction of exit 6 is completed.
- 21/01/2018 - Construction of the Dwarka exit (now closed) is completed.
- 15/04/2018 - Construction of exit 7 is completed.
- 12/01/2019 - A2 Northern Extension approved, leading to Secunda.
