Ondrej Distø II
Ondrej Distø II, (Neobaltian: ɒndre distœ; Ondrej Artyom Novak Distø) (*1 August 1958 in Kappen – †15 August 2021 in Beachview), was a fictitious Neobaltian politician and political activist secretly behind the murder of Mac McDonald and Frank Reynolds on August 15th, 2020. He is also the founder of the Progressive Adaptive Party (Prog-Adap). In the year after the murders, a joint F.S. and ROE investigation concluded that Crimson Fox had been responsible for the murders, however Distø's confession on August 15th, 2021, posted on 8chan, revealed the truth of what happened on the night of the murders.
Early Life
Distø was born into a simple fisher's family who had run a small fishery for generations. His mother, Grete Buren-Distø, is said to have sparked his political interest at a young age. He spent his entire childhood in Kappen.
Personal Life
Distø went to Villanueva University (VU), Villanueva, where he completed a master's degree in political sciences in 1986 after aborting law at bachelor level. He married Villanuevan civil engineer Monica Cervòn and had one son with her, Ondrej Distø III.
He worked as a political science professor at VU for 33 years, before pursuing his dream of participating in the F.S. government. He travelled to Totem Beach once in a while for leisure, where he developed a stark dislike for Crimson Fox.
Political Career
The rise of Fox's National Party prompted Distø to return to Kappen and start his own party, the Prog-Adap. His hatred for the National Party became so great, however, that parallel to the creation of the Prog-Adap, he plotted the murder of McDonald and Reynolds.

As it was unknown that Distø was a murderer, he ran the party successfully for over a year, gaining traction in the Federated States. In order to remain undercover, he steered the party clear from National Party and LDP discourse about Ruffism.
Ondrej Distø's goal was to remove Crimson Fox from any possible government position, however the ever-returning conspiracy of an ROE deep-state motivated Distø to confess his crimes – He stated he "[...] would rather spend Fox's two-hundred year sentence in prison, than hear about this ridiculous deep-state ever again. It was me. I killed Mac McDonald and Frank Reynolds. I am not proud of it, but it was my last chance to get rid of the National Party. I am now sacrificing myself for the Federated States."
Death
Only hours after his confession of the double murder, Distø was caught attempting to steal a banana from a small kiosk at Beachview Judiciary Square rail station, aiming to travel from Kappen to an unknown location. When confronted by police officers, Distø pulled a pistol out of his backpack – he was met by fatal shots only seconds later and died at the scene aged 63. His wife, Monica, and his son, Ondrej Distø III, claim to have known nothing about his involvement with the murders. By default, and Distø II's will, his son became the new leader of the Prog-Adap.
