The Hunt For Bloodbath's Treasure 0 is the test season of The Hunt For Bloodbath's Treasure. It featured two teams of two racing for a grand prize of $1,000.
The event took place on December 19, 2021.
KittyCat11231 and MinecraftYoshi26 on the team Pointless Episode 2 won the race and found the treasure.
Production
Planning for the season started in November 2021. The goal of the test session was to prepare ArizTrad for the real event, to see if there were any issues that could be worked out beforehand, and to help ArizTrad learn how to host this type of event. On November 11, 2021, ArizTrad sent a message in the MRT Discord to gauge interest and availability for certain dates for the session. Five days later, the test season's date was set as Sunday, December 19, 2021, and the signup form was released. A Discord server for the event was created on December 5, 2021.
The challenges and clues for the session were largely created on a single-player world and pasted in. chiefbozx pasted in many of the challenges and the arrows in Deadbush for the first leg. There was a participation prize of $50 and grand prize of $1,000, paid by ArizTrad out of pocket.
Results
The first leg was a non-elimination leg due to there only being two teams. PtldKnight left after the first leg and was replaced by Skelezomperman. Team TBD forfeited during a challenge in Monte Isola.

Leg 1 (Haguenau ➝ Sansvikk ➝ Deadbush ➝ Foresne ➝ Beach City)

The Starting Line was in front of the Haguenau City Hall. Teams were given a map with a yellow background with a white star design, and the text "2E". The yellow background and star design referred to the MRT Southern Line, and the "2E" directed teams two stations to the east, into Sansvikk. The line goes under the Sansvikk Arch, which had Hunt banners on it and a chest. After climbing up a ladder on the back, teams found a dead bush in the chest renamed to "17 Union". This led teams to the top of The Ladder in Deadbush, at the address 17 Union Avenue.
At the top of The Ladder, they found beds and a chest with elytra. In the distance, large arrows with Hunt design were seen leading to The Great Hall of the Crackheads. There, they found 640 seats, each with a name, and a book with four pieces of information about someone's name, which, when put together, referred to one person, Dean Johnson. In Dean Johnson's desk was a Lodestone Compass, which pointed to a water puzzle in Solstice Lake in Foresne.
The goal of the puzzle in Foresne was to alter pistons to create a path for water to flow down to dispense the next clue. The mechanism by which this worked was buttons on top of the puzzle, which activated multiple pistons at a time, and each piston could be activated by multiple different buttons. The person controlling the puzzle could not see the pistons, and had to rely on their team member to help them solve the puzzle. Once the water flowed through, a map with an image of the Crystal Temple from the animated series Steven Universe was dispensed.
This clue led them to the counterpart on the MRT, the Crystal Temple in Beach City. On the palm of the large statue was the Pit Stop for the leg.

The leg started on the palm of the statue of the Crystal Temple in Beach City. Here, teams were given a book. On each page, the letters "x", "y", and "z" with math equations containing trivia about the server, such as "# of road that goes through Secunda, Verdantium, and Merritt Lakes" (The A2). Once solved, these became coordinates leading teams to the MBS building in Central City.
Once on the 5th floor of the MBS Building, teams were given a link to a youtube playlist which contained 12 clips of a larger video, all mixed up. Teams had to correctly put the order that the videos were orginally in. Once they did this, they were told to search for their next clue at the Flag Park. The flag of Monte Isola had a Hunt banner on it and a sign saying "Monte Isola Lighthouse".
At the Monte Isola Lighthouse, teams found explanation. They must start at 0 and cross every bridge with a math equation on it exactly once, and end up at the Monte Isola Amphitheatre with the number of 11. At each bridge, there was also a letter. At the amphitheatre, if these letters were decoded using the key, it revealed the next destination "WISHYWASHYMONUMENTNOW.", leading to the Wishy Washy Monument in Rizalburg.
In Rizalburg, they followed Hunt banners to a chest with boats, telling them to go to the Gray Cloud canal.
In the forest along the canal, they were told to find which four clues or places were actually found along the race: The Ladder in Deadbush, The Flag Park in Central City, a dead bush renamed to 17 Union, and a yellow map with a white star and the text "2E". After they brought these to the Kennith Cole Scenic Overlook on the other side of the canal, they were given the final clue: A gray cloud with an observer and the Great Lakes inside of it. This led teams to the Finish Line, Observer Lake in Gray Cloud, where teams found Bloodbath's treasure.
