Quartz Intraserver Railtransit, created by bestmate66 in October 2013, originally aimed to provide rail lines, but has since expanded into bus and helicopter transit. It's main aim is to provide a simple, seamless user experience for all users of the MRT Server.
QuartzRail, QIR's operating Rail Division, currently provides two open lines with many more in the works. It is a proud co-founder of OneRail, a transit alliance based in Hamanei and Andromeda. The stations utilised are currently those created by minecrafter0505 and RedWays, although our 'own brand' stations are in development in our private lab in Biome Heights.
QuartzBus, QIR's operating Bus Division, is a newborn service which aims to link smaller, less accessible towns to major hubs, in order to make them easier to reach and more frequently visited. Currently, only one route is operating, but there are many others in planning and we are currently taking orders. Please talk to bestmate66 if you are interested in a bus link for your town. Note: Please contact us even if your town does not have road access, as we will even create roads in our effort to connect your town to the wider world.
Updates and Stock
- 20 April 2014 - Page updated and QIR2 is well under construction! Hillville-MineCity, and Andromeda-Rockstone-Midcity sections are now open! Also, we have added a codeshare line which we are co-creating with RailAkane, called the Boomerang line.
- 2 April 2014 - Page, and Planned Lines, majorly redone to take account a change in priorities. Two lines scrapped and one majorly changed, etc, etc. :)
- 14 Nov 2013 - QirExp line created! Perms have been obtained for all stops along the way.
- 11 Nov 2013 - QIR Standard Terminus v2.1 Station Complete! Visits are appointment only, talk to bestmate66 for a special viewing or logiblocs for access to the lab complex in Arlington.
- 10 Nov 2013 - QIR1 path changed majorly and QIR2 demoted to minor planning stage
- 8 Nov 2013 - Station almost finished!
QuartzRail
We currently have one operating metro line and one operating long-distance line, and a myriad of other lines in phases of construction. Please check this wiki page frequently for updates and more information!

OIM Omerah Islands Metro
This was one of the debut lines of the QIR Brand. A short line, it was built to connect the neighbouring islands of Omerah and Omerah Residential District.

QIR2 Central Quartz Line
This line incorporates the old [ALR] Andromeda Light Rail line running from MidCity to Andromeda. As it will have many stops, we are experimenting with the idea of an express/local stop idea, however this will not be implemented until the line's completion. As of 5/20/2014, the line is almost fully open and limited service is operating.

BOOM Boomerang Line
This line is a codeshare with RailAkane and is one of the flag routes of OneRail, the rail alliance which QuartzRail is a proud member of.

QIR1 North Quartz Line
This line has recently been rerouted to follow a straight N-S path along the far Western Ocean area of the MRT. Currently, all stations are open with the exception of the MRT map station, for which permissions are still pending for.
