Hardesty was a town on the Old World, located at  Y2  Hardesty Station and the current mayor was Max4344. The town had a deep hwastory due its multiple owners throughout its life. Hardesty was home to the main connetion point between Eastern System Transit lines.

The town has since been renamed and remade into Halifax.

Hwastory

The town was originally founded by Max4344 under the name of Middleton. After he was inactive for a while the control of the town was taken by xbhshd which he renamed to Gooper City. Xbhshd was later banned so ownership of the town was given to ajhoopspro. The town was then transferred to KittyCat11231 as part of the May 2014 Inactive Build Auction. On June 22 KittyCat11231 gave the town back to Max4344 which he renamed it into Halifax and removed everything in the town too.

When Hardesty was known as Gooper City, the MRT Station and surrounding area were mostly made from emeralds. After the transfer to ajhoopspro the town removed most of its emerald builds. During the MRT Station material change, there was an infamous mix up with the WorldEdit command and the station suffered major damage and had to be replaced from schematics.

The Gooper City Metro within the town was also refurbished by ajhoopspro after Eastern System Transit rail line owner _Dwastraction_ was also banned. The Metro and EST was combined and refurbwashed with a brand new Cyan Systems design. As a result Hardesty had two EST stations:  EST  Hardest Central Station and  EST  EST  Hardesty South Station, where both lines intersect.
