Inverness was founded around November 2015, shortly after Steve_Bobs returned to the server. After a bit of search, he thought  I16 - C55  was suitable for him to start an another town, and no one has claimed it yet. That is how Inverness was started!

Naming

Bad at making up names, Steve_Bobs did not give a name to the town when he created it. He put the naming matter aside until Soso123 gave some suggestions to him. This pushed him to choose a name. He chose four names from a random list of real city names. They include Yellowknife from Canada, Hannover from Germany, Obihiro from Japan and Inverness from Scotland. He then obtained a number from a random number generator, which belongs to Inverness. This is how the town name being decided. (aka a semi-random process)

Expansion

Stuck between two towns, it is hard for Inverness to expand. But in an opportunity, Steve_Bobs took the town at  I15 - C56  Foobar during the December 2016 GSM as its mayor was inactive. The town's expansion gave the mayor more space to build and a more clear idea of what to build and design.

Transport

MRT

As the town is served by the MRT, you can take the MRT  Circle  and  Island  line to the town. The quickest way to travel from Central City to here without warps is by going to the Central City SE station, take the  Island  line and get off at  I16 - C55 .

Road

Inverness is planned to build roads to Sweet Sand Dunes, but this will not occur until both towns reach the Councillor rank.
