_Kastle has participated in the MRTvision Screenshot Contest twelve times since his debut in the first contest. He has participated in the contest under the city of Covina, originally owned by him and now owned by McYoshi26. _Kastle has won the contest once, placed second once, and placed third twice. _Kastle is one of only four participants who have participated in every contest.
Contest history
Prior to the MRTvision Screenshot Contest, a screenshot contest was held in 2015 by the MRT Staff, where _Kastle won with the screenshot "MRT Welcome Center", becoming the first person to win a screenshot contest on the MRT Server. _Kastle debuted in the MRTvision Screenshot Contest in the first contest with the screenshot "Winter Wonderland", a render of Konawa with Lanark in the background. The screenshot placed 3rd with 233 points. In the following contest, _Kastle submitted the screenshot "Heading Home" and received 271 points, placing 3rd for the second time in a row.
In the MRTvision Screenshot Contest 3, _Kastle submitted the screenshot "The City Above", placing 6th with 293 points. In the fourth contest, _Kastle submitted the screenshot "A Grateful Universe". The screenshot placed 3rd in the first semi-final and 15th in the final with 139 points. This placement is _Kastle's first and only time not to have a screenshot featured on the website and is _Kastle's worst result. In the fifth contest, _Kastle placed 7th in the final, receiving 130 points for the screenshot "I Will Ride, I Will Fly, Chase the Wind and Touch the Sky".
_Kastle submitted the screenshot "And at Last I See the Light" for the sixth contest and was one of the frontrunners to win the contest before voting opened. In the final, _Kastle won the qualifier vote but placed 6th in the public vote, placing 2nd overall after receiving 200 points. _Kastle was the frontrunner to win the following contest as well, with the screenshot "Like a Shooting Star, I Will Go the Distance". _Kastle won the contest, winning both the qualifier and public vote with a total of 302 points. The following contest was hosted in his town of Covina at the Covina Ellipse Theater, which was renovated in 2021 for the contest. The screenshot later went on to win MRTvision: Celebrating 10 Screenshot Contests, a special program made to determine the MRTvision Screenshot Contest's most popular entrant of its first ten editions.
As a result of Modgate, _Kastle's submissions from the eighth contest onward have been taken on a singleplayer world of the same scene of Gray Cloud with which he won from different angles. As Covina was transferred to McYoshi26, _Kastle has been granted permission by McYoshi26 to participate in the contests under Covina. _Kastle has since placed 5th with "Out of the sea, Wish I could be, Part of that world", 8th with "Why is my reflection someone I don't know?", 4th with "This thing was a masterpiece, til you tore it all up", 7th with "People down here think I'm crazy!", and 8th with "Tell me this feeling lasts 'til forever".
_Kastle has been vocal about disliking the public vote after perceiving that the public has placed him low at times when the qualifier vote has placed him high. The public has ranked _Kastle lower than the qualifier vote by at least three places in the second, fourth, sixth, ninth, and eleventh contests.
As of the twelfth contest, _Kastle holds the record for having received the most raw total points throughout his participation, earning a total of 3,235 points. _Kastle has never received less than 100 points in the final once. _Kastle holds the record for the most screenshots shown on the website with eleven.
Theming
Since the MRTvision Screenshot Contest 5, the title of every screenshot _Kastle has submitted has been the lyrics from songs, mostly from Disney films. "I Will Ride, I Will Fly, Chase the Wind and Touch the Sky" are lyrics in "Touch the Sky" from the film Brave. "And at Last I See the Light" are lyrics in "I See the Light" from the film Tangled. "Like a Shooting Star, I Will Go the Distance" are lyrics in "Go the Distance" from the film Hercules. "Out of the sea, Wish I could be, Part of that world" are lyrics in "Part of Your World" from the film The Little Mermaid. "Why is my reflection someone I don't know?" are lyrics in "Reflection" from the film Mulan. "This thing was a masterpiece, til you tore it all up" are lyrics in Taylor Swift's song "All Too Well". "People down here think I'm crazy!" are lyrics in "Almost There" from the film The Princess and the Frog. "Tell me this feeling lasts 'til forever" are lyrics in "Suddenly, Seymour" from the musical Little Shop of Horrors.
_Kastle has only taken screenshots of two cities, Konawa and Gray Cloud, with a majority taken in the latter city. All of his screenshots have only featured his own builds.
