Getting To Know Minecraft (Pre-Guest Era)
Hightech_TR found out about Minecraft from YouTube videos online. He desperately wanted to get Minecraft, so he started off with Pocket Edition of the game in mid 2013. Two days later, he managed to purchase Minecraft for his PC (which, at the time, always BSODed). The game was bought in the period between the Redstone Update (MC 1.5) and the Horse Update (MC 1.6).
Joining The MRT Server (Pre-Guest Era)
While searching YouTube for a video of the Circle Line of the Singapore MRT, Hightech_TR stumbled across frumple1's timelapse of the MRT Circle Line. Hightech_TR was exposed to the MRT server for the first time in his life.
On the 28th of June, 2015, the last day of this June school holidays, Hightech_TR found the server website and IP address and managed to log on to Minecraft to join the MRT server for the first time. He was greeted by mine_man_ who toured him around the MRT server, even encountering an illegal advertiser at the start of the adventure.
Getting Accepted Into The Community (Guest Era)
Hightech_TR explored the MRT server on the second day, meeting more people like lalaboy and HanSangYoon. On the third day, he met ModernArt who became one of his best friends on the MRT server. He decided to wait for 5 days before he submitted the first member application. A day later, on the 4th of July, 2015 (Happy Independence Day, America), he got his first application rejected due to a single question. He followed what the rules said and submitted the next application a day later, which got him accepted the following day. Hightech_TR officially joined the MRT community.
Starting Off The Adventure (Member Era)
Hightech_TR started off immediately after his application approval by accepting KittyCat11231's request to get an apartment in Nippia. Shortly after, he claimed ZN10 , starting off his successful town, Woodsdale. He began work on the town by cutting down trees and removing unnecessary terrain around the station. A few days later, he started off his popular franchise, Eat and Bowl in the old MesaPromenade in Janghwa City (now demolished). Slowly, he made progress in Woodsdale by placing the first roads, building the first buildings and more. Soon after, he was promoted to the [Citizen] rank.
Aquiring a temporary laptop for gameplay is part of this era too.
The Trustee Veto (Citizen Era)
After he built up his town quite a bit, Hightech_TR decided to rank up. He asked people for some endorsements to the rank. However, he complained when somebody else got an endorsement, which slowly led to the big disaster. After a while, he heard from lalaboy that he has been vetoed (although he did not know who did it, and to this date he has not found the admod who vetoed him). This caused Hightech_TR to go into a state of grief, lowering his town flag to half mast and nearly stopping work on Woodsdale.

Hightech_TR decided to wait the month out until October 2015, where he finally got promoted on the 23rd October, 2015 to the [Trustee] rank. Whew.
The Events Of ClockFest and Town Recognition (Trustee Era)

December 2015 was a long month for Hightech_TR, with lots of events that happened. At the beginning of the month, Woodsdale was recognized and Hightech_TR was awarded with the [Councillor] rank. This happy and peaceful period only lasted for a short time as just the following day, the monthlong ClockFest wrecked havoc through the MRT server, which scarred the minds of all MRT players, including Hightech_TR and TrainPro. Development of Woodsdale had to be halted during the rampage by ClockFest. Later on in the month, the MRT server celebrated Christmas with a snowy island that players can build and give presents to other players. Hightech_TR got about 8 presents in total and gave out 13.
Finishing school for 2015 and the long 2.5 month holidays are part of this era too.
The Mayor Rank Emergency Crisis (Councillor Era)
The period between Hightech_TR's [Councillor] rank and [Mayor] rank was the toughest part of his journey.
Hightech_TR has finally decided to join the large group of [Mayor] rank players in the MRT server. With the help of multiple players, he got his town up to the standards posted on the wiki. Little did he know at that time that the rank required more than what was on the wiki page.
Hightech_TR asked Aliksong to endorse his town for the new rank. However, upon looking at Woodsdale through dynmap, he concluded that Woodsdale did not qualify for the rank. This started a 6-week long crisis of intense work on Woodsdale to rush to the [Mayor] rank. Some of his friends had been promoted to this rank in the middle of the crisis, intensifying the situation. After weeks of long, hard work, on April Fools Day 2016, Hightech_TR was finally awarded the [Mayor] rank (or [royaM] rank as the April Fools joke was in effect during promotion).
Getting a new custom built PC is part of this era too.
A Years Worth of Waiting (Mayor Era)
The time interval between [Mayor] and [Senator] ranks are the longest ever, taking more than a year to get promoted.
Many things have happened while Hightech_TR was [Mayor]. Throughout half of 2016 and half of 2017, cities have been promoted, and he felt it was time for a rank up. Getting a city rank is no easy task, requiring a GSM to approve the city. Originally planned for a 2016 promotion, many delays such as the (now demolished) Sonamu, Pimp my Woodsdale 2.0 and many more have managed to push the submission way past April Fools Day of 2017. Hightech_TR knew he was losing time, but always felt that Woodsdale was just not ready. However, Soso123 told him that Freedon was worse than Woodsdale before Senator, but he succeeded in the promotion. Hightech_TR finally gave the courage to sign up for a review for City Rank Promotion Batch #13. The results were an impressive score of 9/9, which guarantees a promotion to the prestigious [Senator].
Getting the first home console Hightech_TR ever owned, the Nintendo Switch, is part of this era too.
